Lex Williford has published stories in Flash Fiction, StoryQuarterly, the Kansas Quarterly, the Virginia Quarterly Review, Glimmer Train, Stories, and elsewhere. He has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the MacDowell Colony, Yaddo, the Blue Mountain Center, the Millay Colony, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and the Ragdale Foundation. He teaches fiction writing at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
